Damn those matha-fakka's at UA! The UAD2, which had been rumoured like crazy over the internet, is for REAL!

Universal Audio officially announced the arrival of a second generation of their DSP processing card yesterday! This is gonna make the whole recording industry go crazy! Argggh! My bank account needs and instant top up!!

PS: Notice that little black chip at the lower middle of the card? Yes! It's indeed a Xilinx Spartan! In this field, I get to see lots of circuit-boards, and FPGAs are one of the common necessities. But I generally see more "X"s than "A"s in this field! Sales ppl, you are not working hard enough! I wanna see the stock prices go highER!

I have long drooled about owning a laptop. And of all the laptops, I've secretly, and publicly dreamt that someday I'd be a proud owner of a Macintosh. Making the BIG SWITCH to apple, and dumping the old "tingkap". And while all the Macs (desktop or laptop) looked stunningly delicious, this is on the top of my drool list.

Call me a nerdy geek, but I'd rather be a nerdy geek that carries a stylish Mac than a PC! Mac is always about a balance between simplicity and elegance. Their beauty alone is worth all the drooling. Not to mention the ability to now host Microsoft Windows (and/or Linux) alongside with the Mac OS X!
