Finally! David Cook the winner of American Idol 7th season released his first single titled "Light On" online couple days ago. His album is scheduled to be released somewhere in November, which is still couple of months away.

Anyhow, searching youtube, I was able to listen to the song, and its.... Well, it a "nice" song, I guess, but has "shadow" of other rock bands/singers (discussion online tends to compare him to Chris Daughtry). I'd say its still a good and commercial song, but I have come to expect more of him. I'm waiting for something that surprising, which could be really hard to top after all the great covers he made during the American Idol competition.
